Brandon gets his wish.

Thanks to everyone that left their opinions on the whole swimsuit issue. Everyone left really good coments and had good insite on the subject. I think I mostly agree with the people that say let her wear it. While she is a baby I don't see anything wrong with it. I do see the side of the people that say if you never start then you never have to take it away....Well.....I talked to Brandon and he does not agree with me on the issue. Before I posted the swimsuit post I had asked him if he wanted me to take it back and he never said for sure if he wanted me to or not. The other day we were sitting around and out of no where he said "I do not want her wearing that swimsuit." So with no further need of explination I am respecting my husbands wishes and taking the swimsuit back to the store...Unless Merrilee wants it for Kate...I could mail it to you...Anyway I just thought I would let you all know what we decided to do. Agree to dissagree.

Camping...again!!

We went camping for the 24th of July weekend up at Albion Basin it is at the top of Little Cottonwood Canyon (the ONLY campground that had an open spot for us at the last minute). It ended up being the perfect camping spot and we will definitly go back one day! I can't go anywhere without turning it into a photo shoot of Valerie so mixed in here are some of the pictures I took of her....I know I have said it before and I will say it again, I am OBSESSED!!

Swimsuit controversy

I found THE CUTEST in the world swimsuit ever at Old Navy yesterday and when I brought it home Brandon said Valerie could not have it. When I asked why not he asked me if I wanted her wearing bikini's when she is a teenager. When I told him no he said OK then where do you draw the line? When do you make her stop wearing them? This is a very thought provoking question for me and i have yet to come up with an answer. Help me out on this one, what do you think? Should she NEVER be allowed to wear a bikini or do you decide later in life to all of a sudden make her stop...do you never make her stop and let her choose on her own?? So help me out here by answering the poll.

Fun Weekend

This weekend we got together with some of the missionaries that Brandon was in the MTC with. We stayed at a cabin and went on a hike Saturday morning.

This is Gabe, he is our friends Gary and Erely's baby....We are pretty sure that one day him and Valerie will get married!! Don't they make the perfect couple?!?

Happy birthday Brandon!!

Well for Brandon's Birthday me and Valerie thought we would celebrate by going swimming without him!! We are so nice!What a good cousin, she is making sure Zachary's sun screen is all rubbbed in!

Me and Valerie decided to include Brandon in the Birthday dinner at Biaggi's Italian Resturaunt at the Gateway.

Brandon liked showing Valerie the fountain thing that shoots water up in the air...she was not all too impressed...maybe next year.

To end the Birthday celebration we put Valerie to bed and did what Brandon likes to do best...make fire!!

4th of July

It is our tradition every year for the 4th of July to go to the ReAL Salt Lake Soccer game. So far me and Brandon have done that ever since we meet. This year we got to bring along our little monkey!! The game was on the 3rd this year so we got to celebrate the 4th 2 days in a row. :)Our little red white and blue family...how sweet!!

Brandon had tons of fun with the camera taking cool shots of the fireworks...the swirly ones he left the shutter open for a long time and was moving the camera around...kinda cool huh!?!

On the 4th we went to a BBQ at Daniel and Ashleys new apartment that is right next to the West Jordan Park so we got to watch fireworks again!!...Daniel has more pictures that I will have to get from him and post....Valerie got to pet some fun animals at the Park.
