It's my turn.

This is Brandon, I never contribute to this but thought I would fill you in on some things that happened while Alisha was in "The TWILIGHT Zone". ( By the way, it's great to have you back wife)

It took a while but I did get our roof finished. Thanks to help from our awesome family and neighborhood friends. I'm so obsessive I even bought a special $10 can of spray paint and painted the furnace flu dark grey. Our house looks great. The next big projects are going to be a sprinkler system and some landscaping so she doesn't look so naked. I'm not going to show you any pictures of the back yard. We opted to not water it at all this year because we didn't feel like spending our summer moving a sprinkler around.

Valerie has teeth! The bottom 2 came in a few months ago and now she has one breaking through on the top. She hasn't acted like she was in pain at all, just alot of drool. She is also moving around alot more. She has walked with help for a while now but recently she has started standing up on her own for a few seconds at a time then slowly sitting back down. She is going to be walking in no time! We are getting the house baby proofed now that she is tearing into everything she can get to.

Oscar got to move back up stairs. Alot of people didn't even know we had a dog. He was exiled to live down stairs just before Valerie was born. Now that she's bigger and can defend herself from his licking attacks we invited him back upstairs. We have had to re-train him on a few things but for the most part he is doing really well. Sorry dude. It won't happen again. For a while at least.

A few months ago I went back to work for the company I was with a few years ago, Fetzer Architectural Woodwork (the picture is of a project I worked on when I was there before). The opportunity came up and it was a no brainer. My commute was cut from 30 minutes to 3 minutes each way. The benefits are amazing. It's a huge company so it's nice to have daily interaction with people. I work 5 days a week from 6:00 to 4:30. Most people would probably not like this but I'm a morning person and I like to get in alot of hours and finish up a little early. I also get to see my family at lunch because home is so close. I'm all around a happier person.

Wow, Brandon, congrats on the post. My hubby can barely make it to our blog, let alone POST! I love your little girly. She's a doll. And Alisha, I can't believe the MS leak on the internet! STUPID.

Such great news about Fetzer's! Jeff worked for them for a short while in high school and helped with some molding for the Timpanogos Temple. Your house looks great by the way - we still need to see it in person sometime.

Brandon - congrats on the new job! I didn't know you changed. And, a shorter commute with better hours is fabulous. That's great. You get to spend a lot of time with your girls in teh evening. That's something Bryan wishes he could do too. And, way to go on the roof! And of course, yay for Val!
